The Cockshoot Cup returned to Mallory Park after several years for round four of the 2010 Championship. David Coulthard once again converted pole position into a race and Class C win. Dan Surridge driving Julia Penfold's MGZR was alongside "DC" on the front row, but got a poor start giving up positions to Peter Bramble and Alan Bates in their MGBs. He fought back to secure second place. Peter pulled clear of Alan who then lost places to Helen Waddington in her ZR and Terry Burrows driving an MGB, but he fought back past Terry, but couldn't catch Helen. In Class A, Steve Mckie missed much of qualifying with a missfire which returned at the start of the race causing his retirement. Ian Wright pulled well clear of Jeremy Toes with Phil Yates driving a fine race into third in Class. Peter Bramble set a new Class B lap record. David Coulthard still leads the Championship, but only by two points from Peter Bramble and Ian Wright. There is now a summer break with the Championship reaching a conclusion in September at Cadwell Park and Croft.

Bright sunshine and a dry track greeted the Cockshoot Cup cars at Anglesey on the 26th June. Jeremy Toes had been unable to repair his car from Silverstone and several other drivers could not attend. Twelve cars qualified for the third round of the 2010 Championship. David Coulthard secured pole in the ZR and converted that into a race win and Class C victory. He was chased by Sean Peters in his Midget who finished second in the race and first in Class B. Pete Bramble drove with verve to finish third in the race and second in Class B. Behind Pete, Alan Bates defended the whole race long from Paul Newton in his new Midget. This gave Alan third in Class B and Paul second in Class C (having opted to change class). Danny Cusworth finished sixth and third in Class C in his best race to date. Helen Waddington was the only driver who failed to finish with hub breakage and a lost wheel on her ZR. In Class A, Ian Wright jumped into the class lead, with Steve Mckie second and Graham Prosser third. Both Steve and Graham had quick spins trying to catch Ian with all three drivers having very close lap times. David Coulthard, Sean Peters and Steve McKie set the fastest laps which were all records. After three rounds, David Coulthard leads the championship by two points from Ian Wright, Peter Bramble and Sean Peters all tied for second.

The second round of the 2010 Cockshoot Cup Championship was run at MG Live on the Historic Grand Prix Circuit, a new experience for all the drivers. The race was run in two twenty minute long parts sharing the track with the BCV8 contenders. The first and second parts of the race were won by Mark Humphrey driving an MGTF LE 500 giving him overall victory and Class C. David Coulthard chased hard, got close in the first part, but had to settle for second in Class C. Helen Waddington overcame braking problems to secure third in Class C from Danny Cusworth in his green MG Midget. In the first part, Class B was dominated by Sean Peters but mechanical problems in the second part meant a non-finish. Peter Bramble was second in Class B in the first part, won the second and so took maximum points. John Wreghitt drove consistently to take second in Class with Simon Griffiths third in his Midget. The Class A battle was frenetic with Ian Wright and Jeremy Toes both leading in the first part with Jeremy ahead when it mattered at the flag. In the second part, Ian had an engine problem, Jeremy began to run out of oil and Steve McKie shot past to take the victory. Steve's total race time was just a few seconds quicker than Jeremy's giving him the Class win. Graham Prosser drove two consistent races to secure third in the Class. The drivers were racing for the Tim Forwood Trophies which were won by Steve McKie, Peter Bramble and Mark Humphrey. The lap record holders for the historic Silverstone GP Circuit are Class A Steve Mckie 2 minutes 27.1 seconds; Class B Sean Peters 2 minutes 16.1 seconds; Class C Mark Humphrey 2 minutes 13.3 seconds; and Class F Mike Rouse 2 minutes 29.1 seconds.
Joint Championship leaders with twenty points each are Peter Bramble and David Coulthard.

The Cockshoot Cup Championship for 2010 started on Saturday 8th May on a dry sunny afternoon at Oulton Park. A good grid of cars took to the International Circuit for a twenty minute race. Pole position driver David Coulthard in his ZR lost out at the start to a hard charging Ollie Neaves driving an MGB with a K series engine, but "DC" fought back, built a substantial lead and took a comfortable race win. Behind him there was a superb dice between Ollie and Sean Peters, the leading Class B driver, in his Midget. Ollie just took second by 0.297 seconds after ten laps racing. Peter Bramble and Alan Bates were both spectacular in securing second and third in Class B with Helen Waddington climbing through the field to take third in Class C in her ZR. Ian Wright began his title defence in fine style with Class pole and a great run to a Class win. Matching Ian in lap times, but not able to catch him, were Graham Prosser, Steve Mckie and Jeremy Toes in their Midgets who finished second, third and fourth in Class A. David Coulthard, Sean Peters and Ian Wright were awarded the Vicky Peters Trophies for their Class wins.
