In 2009 we will be celebrating 75 years of the donation of the Cockshoot Cup to the North Western Centre and 25 years of the race championship (first races held in 1984). I am looking for ideas and suggestions about what we might do e.g. special race (s), re-union of drivers, race or championship sponsors, a new image etc etc. Any ideas that you have, please E Mail me so that we can start things that have a long lead time. I have scanned in all the qualifying and race results sheets since the Championship began. They should be available on the site soon, but if anybody would like a set, then I can burn a CD for them. I am missing some results sheets from 1984, 1985 and 1986. If anybody has kept originals from that time I would like to borrow them to complete the set. I also have most of the original programmes, but I am not scanning them! Paul Goodman.
